NEW DELHI, November 1: Northern Railway, Delhi retained the freestyle title with 42 points in the 40th All India Railway Wrestling Championship at Kapurthala, according to reports reaching here.Railways, however, surrendered the Greeco-Roman title to Central Railway, Mumbai who secured 42 points.
Western Railway (27) and North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur (16) finished second and third, respectively, in the freestyle and Northern Railway (40) and Eastern Railway got second and third positions, respectively.
Anuj Chaudhary of the Northern Railway won the 85kg caregory beating Ramesh Kumar of Western Railway on points.

Freestyle 58 kg: 1 Surinder Singh (WR), 2 Kirpa Shankar (WR), 3 Mewa Lal Yadav (ER). 69 kg: 1 Joginder (WR), 2 Rajesh Kumar (SER), 3 Hanuman Singh (NR). 85 kg: 1 Anuj Chaudhary (NR), 2 Ramesh Kumar (WR), 3 Janardan Yadav (NER). Plus 97 kg: 1 Gulam Sabir (NR), 2 Amitabh Anand (DLW), 3 Surinder Singh (ER).
