Harbhajan passes test

UNITED NEWS OF INDIA
MUMBAI, Nov 5: Fred titmus, world's leading expert on bowler's action has cleared India's 18-year-old off spinner Harbhajan Singh from the allegation of chucking.

Board of Control for Cricket in India's executive secretary Sharad Diwadkar, who accompanied him to Titmus's clinic in London for two days, returned today and said Titmus had found nothing wrong in Harbhajan's action. The action needed minor correction, Diwadkar said quoting Titmus.

Diwadkar said Titmus at once noticed that Harbhajan was dropping his head on the left at the point of delivery and that used to create an impression that his action was illegal. All now he has to do is keep the head straight and the arm will automatically appear straight, Titmus had observed.
