Bail for 30 in LOC case

GUWAHATI, NOV 6: As many as 30 persons, including several politicians, accused in the multi-crore Letters of Credit (LOC) scandal in the Assam Veterinary Department, were granted bail by the special court (Assam) on Thursday.The special court judge granted bail to the 30 persons despite the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) expressing the fear that the accused may attempt to influence witnesses if freed.
