Nehru Bal Mela

NEW DELHI, November 6: Nearly 5000 children, disabled and those living in slums, will meet for a social get-together during the 36th Nehru Bal Mela, which takes off here on Sunday.The annual mela will include competitions in spot painting, essay and story writing, recitations, dance, music and plays, S.P. Govil, Director of Nehru Bal Samiti, said here today. The highlight of this year's week-long programme will be a `walk for Nehru's ideals' in Connaught Place on November 13, he said.
