Civil Services cricket
Trials to select the Chandigarh Zone cricket team for participation in the All India Civil-Services cricket tournament will be held on November 14 at 9.30 a.m. The tournament will be held at Hyderabad from December 14 to 22.

Sports day
A large number of students participated in the sports meet of Doon Public School, Sector 12, here.

The events held during the day included a number of races and a yoga drill. An amusing event was the three-legged race for the parents of the students. Speaking at the occasion, Brig Surinder Mohan said that institutins which aimed at the all-round development of children were the need of the day.
