Pak holds back MFN status, wants disputes resolved first
Pakistan on Tuesday said that it wouldn't allow free trade or give Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status to India, unless both sides make progress towards the resolution of political disputes and improve "durable peace and security'' in the region.

US wants inventory of India, Pak nuclear weapons
The United States is seeking a full inventory of nuclear weapons and deployment in India and Pakistan, including an account of fissile material stocks in the two countries, as a prelude to enforcing a limit on the nuclearisation of the sub-continent.

Pak demands parity with India on all nuke issues
Pakistan promises not to deploy nuclear weapons if India makes a similar promise, Pakistan Foreign Minister Sartaj Aziz said on Tuesday. He added that in the last round of bilateral talks, Pakistan had offered India a "framework'' to prevent the deployment of nuclear weapons.
