NEW DELHI, NOV 11: Government will introduce the Patents Act (Amendment) Bill in the winter session of Parliament, commerce minister Ramakrishna Hegde said here today."We will complete all requirements on amendment of the Indian Patents Act before the deadline of April 19, 1999 in conformity with the WTO guidelines," Hegde said on the sidelines of the third India-Kenya joint trade committee session organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
The group of ministers will meet shortly to discuss the issue, he said.
