Audio recording unit busted A fake audio-cassette recording racket in the Saraswati Vihar area of northwest Delhi has been busted. Recording equipment, cassettes and accessories worth Rs 9 lakh have been siezed from the unit's Raja Park, Shakur Basti premises. These include 4,201 recorded infringed audio-cassettes, 7,200 incomplete cassettes, 75,000 inlay cards, 8,700 stickers, 3,007 cassette covers, a recording machine, a rewinding machine, a cassette players and two speakers. The unit's owner Ashok Kumar, who used to run a tea shop in Rohtak, has reportedly confessed that he has been running this racket for the last one and a half years.Two arrested for murder The Adarsh Nagar police have arrested two men on the charge of murdering a man following a quarrel regarding parking space for their trucks at Azadpur Mandi on November 6. Mahender Singh was stabbed in the stomach allegedly by Swaran Singh while Amrik Singh held him down. Man shot at A resident of Palam Colony was shot at by three scooter-borne miscreants on Tuesday evening.
