JAUNPUR, Nov 12: Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Rural Development Bans Narain Patel's father Ramlakhan today immolated himself in a room of his under-construction house in Bharsara village under Zafrabad police station of the district last night.According to police, Patel's charred body was found in the room this morning. The Minister who was in town today, cancelled all his programmes and immediately rushed home. The district magistrate and the SSP also reached the spot.
The body has been sent for post mortem and police is investigating into the matter.
