3-week seminar
A seminar-cum-workshop for mothers of children aged between two and eight years will be organised by city-based institute Vatsalya November 20 onwards. Spread over three weeks, the seminar aims to help parents in coping with the stress of parenting, understanding their children better and discussing their individual problems. Jyoti Parikh and other child development experts will co-ordinate the session on Friday at Vatsalya, Prafull Colony, near Tarangan Society from 5 to 6.30 pm.

Appointed
City-based eye surgeon and judge of consumer court, Vadodara, Ashok Mehta has been appointed to the Gujarat State Consumer Protection Council for a period of two years as a member (non-government) along with six MLAs and 11 additional chief secretaries of the State government.

TOEFL exam

Kids invited
Underpriviledged children from the Diwalipura and Devnagar slums were invited to inaugurate the Bal Mela, organised by the Utkarsh Vidyalaya (English medium) on Children's Day.
