Gujarat Refinery holds cultural programme

VADODARA, Nov 18: Corporate Communications, Gujarat Refinery celebrated a two-day cultural festival `Utsav' to propagate the feeling of unity in diversity and that of oneness. The programme, also aimed to encourage young talent and traditional folk music and dance, was inaugurated by P S Rao, Executive Director, Gujarat Refinery. Folk dances from Gujarat, Punjab, Bengal, Orissa, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Karnataka were presented by local artists.Renowned film artist Naresh Kanodia and film singer and music director Mahesh Kanodia were felicitated for their contribution to the Indian music and the society at the programme. Mahesh Kumar also presented a musical night, which attracted a huge crowd. Visit: Indian Oil's Director Subir Raha visited Gujarat Refinery and Marketing and pipeline installations of Indian Oil. While addressing the officials of the refinery, Raha emphasised the need to give top priority to customer satisfaction through excellence in quality and services. Executive Director Rao, and Jai Gopal, deputy general manager, (HR) welcomed Raha and briefed him on various HR issues of the Refinery. CDU Column Arrives: Out of the three segments of CDU Column, two huge segments have arrived in Gujarat Refinery for its new unit AU-V via Munjpur. The bottom and middle portion of the column, weighting 130 MT and 80 MT respectively and with a maximum diameter of 6 meter, were transported to Gujarat Refinery on a 90-wheeled truck trolly.
