English classes
The South Gujarat Productivity Council will conduct `Spoken General English Classes.' The classes, beginning December 1, will be held at Samruddhi building, Nanpura. While only those who are SSC pass are eligible to apply, the course will teach students how to appear for an interview, prepare for group discussion, among other things.

Arangetram
Tejas Yadav will perform Arangetram on November 23, at 9 pm at Gandhi Smruti Bhavan. Yadav is a part-time employee of the circuit house.

Handicraft week
The 44th All-India Handicraft Week will be celebrated in Ahmedabad from December 8 to 15. While the exhibition is being organised by the State government's handicraft industry department, those interested in exhibiting their products should contact the District Industry Office by November 30.

2-day workshop
Vadodara: The Primary Teacher's Forum has organised a two-day workshop on November 23 and 24 at the Bright Day School, VIP Road, to prepare proxy material to be used by a teacher substituting another during the proxy period.

Report released
A compendium of papers and the report of the National Seminar on Pupil Evaluation, organised by the Centre of Advanced Study in Education , Faculty of Education and Psychology, M S University, was released by the Centre on Children's Day.
