Two girls go missing
Two girls, Pinky (11) and Nandini, have been reported missing from Daulatpura, Ghaziabad. The girls were last seen on November 1. Pinky is the daughter of Diwan Chand, resident of house no. 224, gali no. 1, Daulatpura. Nandini is the daughter of Kanhaiya Lal, resident of the JJ cluster in Vivekanand Nagar.Property dealer arrested
A property dealer from Murad Nagar, UP, has been arrested by a team from the Special Cell on the charge of dealing in skins of endangered animals. Shahid Ahmed was reportedly caught when he was trying to sell off leopard skins for Rs 90,000 to a decoy customer in Lajpat Nagar.
Police solve murder case
The Nabi Karim police say they have solved a case of murder. Nine-year-old Musrafe's body was recovered from a forest near Punjabi Bagh earlier this month. The child's father, Nasruddin had lodged a missing persons' complaint on October 12.
Phone cable stolen near IIT
Around 15 m of an underground cable was stolen on Tuesday near the IIT Gate on Vedanta Marg. This has affected 942 telephone connections in Katwaria Sarai, Qutab Hotel and Qutab Institutional Area.
