MUMBAI, NOV 19: Naresh Rathod and Jyotsna Yelve triumphed in the junior boys' and girls' selection trials carrom tournament held at Worli Sports CLub on November 14-15.Top seeded Rathod defeated India No 2 junior Mukesh Sharma 25-9, 0-25, 25-15 in the final while Jyotsna beat second seeded Priti Bhatankar 25-14, 15-15 to clinch the title.
The following players selected in this tournament will represent Maharashtra in the Junior National and Inter-state carrom championships at Baroda from December 25.
Boys' team: Naresh Rathod, Mukesh Sharma, Sandeep Deorukhkar, Suraj Kajrolkar, Amit Todankar, Anant Gayatri.
Girls' team: Jyotsna Yelve, Priti Bhatankar, Asmita Kanukale, Shweta Merchande, Komal Kajrolkar, Roopali Kajrolkar.
