25-year-old ends life
A 25-year-old youth committed suicide during the early hours of Sunday in his house located at Varachha, the police said. Although the reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained, the Varachha police have registered a case under section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Theft
One Vishweshwar Anand Guruswami Yogeshwaranandji complained to the Mahidharpura police that his mobile phone with the number 9825077501 was stolen from his room in Narayan Math at Lal Darwaja, on Wednesday night. The police have registered a case under section 380 of the IPC and are investigating. No arrests have been made as yet.

Hit-and-run
A man, who was hit by a tempo, received severe head injuries in a mishap that occurred on late Wednesday evening, the police said. Devendra Sadhu, a resident of Man Darwaja area, complained to the Salabatpura police that he along with one Suresh Dattu Pawar were standing near Umarwada Laxmi Dyeing, when a tempo hit Pawar and fled the scene. Pawar is stated to have received severe injuries and has been admitted to the New Civil hospital. The police have registered a case under sections of the IPC and MVA.

Threatened
One Gordhan Marathi, a labourer, lodged a complaint in the Salabatpura police station on Thursday stating that he was threatened with dire consequences by one Kamleshbhai, when he approached him for the money that the accused owed him. Marathi was also allegedly bashed up by the accused, the police added. The Salabatpura police have registered a case under sections of the IPC and are investigating.
