Thackeray queers the pitch, talks divorce
The row over Pakistani cricket team's tour seemed to be getting out of hand with the Shiv Sena chief threatening to snap ties with BJP saying he would stick to his resolve of not letting the team play, even if it meant a divorce with its alliance partner.

Goa CM, Governor differ over session
Goa Chief Minister Wilfred D'Souza has stated that the Legislative Assembly session will not be advanced and will be held on December 2 as per schedule. And on December 2, his Government is ready to prove strength on the floor of the house.

Govt will survive, asserts PM
As electioneering reached a shrill end on Monday, Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee rounded off his do-or-die campaign asserting that his Government would survive even if the pollsters' bleak predictions for the BJP in Wednesday's assembly elections are proved correct.
