SFI holds protest against college

PUNE, Nov 27: The Pune city committee of the Student Federation of India today held noisy demonstrations in front of the office of assistant director, Tilak Ayurveda College alleging that the college management of taking anti-students decision.

In a press note issued today, the federation criticised the college management's decision to reduce the hostel seats from 150 to 50. The federation blamed the college authorities for uncleanliness and mismanagement of the hostel facilities.

The federation, while forwarding their demands to the authorities, threatened that in case of non-compliance they will intensify their agitation. The interns at Tarachand and Nanal hospitals will abstain from their regular duties on December 4. If that fails to evoke any response from the college management, the federation will close the gates of the college on December 11 as a mark of protest, the release said.
