Christian schools, colleges to stay closed tomorrow

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, December 3: All Christian schools and colleges in the Capital will remain closed tomorrow, in protest against the ``continuing violence and atrocities'' against the community. Over 100 schools, the Jesus and Mary College and St Stephen's College will be closed.

``The students will not participate in the rallies organised by the United Christian Forum For Human Rights,'' explains Father Devdas, one of the organisers. ``However, the fact that there will be no classes, conveys their support for the event.'' Hospitals will also join in the protest. The staff of the St Stephen's and Holy Family hospitals along with the Jeevodaya Hospital in Ashok Vihar will wear black bands. The OPDs in these hospitals will remain closed for an hour tomorrow.
