Goel holds MCD chief guilty for building collapse

NEW DELHI, December 3: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Chandni Chowk Vijay Goel held the Municipal Commissioner V.K. Duggal responsible for the death of three persons following the collapse of an unauthorised building in Lal Kuan yesterday. Addressing a press conference today, Goel accused the commissioner of ``protecting the suspended JE Hasan, who has been allowing unauthorised markets to crop up in Chandni Chowk''. Goel said that every time such an incident occurred, only the lower level officers were accused and found guilty, just as this time around.
