CHANDIGARH, Dec 8: The work at the Punjab and Haryana High Court was suspended today, following the death of a senior advocate S. C. Mohanta.The decision to abstain from work as a mark of respect was taken at the general body meeting of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, according to association's honorary secretary Sukhjinder Singh Behl. Twice appointed the Advocate General of Haryana, Mohanta had also been a former member of the Rajya Sabha.
His cremation today was attended by judicial officers and members of the Bar.
