PUNE, Dec 8: The Pune District Amateur Boxing Association will be organising a one-day invitational boxing meet, alongwith the Pimpri Chinchwad Youth Congress, at Veer Bhagatsingh Market, Dapodi at 5.00 p.m. on December 9.The championship forms part of the celebrations being held in the city on the occasion of the birthday of Sharad Pawar, leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha.
The meet is open in the sub-junior, junior and senior categories. Weighing in for the bout and other formalities will be conducted at the competition venue on the same day from 8.00 a.m.
