MUMBAI, December 9: Indian Airlines has announced changes in its flight schedule for December 11 to minimise disruption of services on account of the one-day strike call given by a section of its employees' unions to protest proposed privatisation of the airline.The Mumbai-Bangalore flight IC 105 will be combined with IC 109 to leave Mumbai at 11 am, while flight IC 107 on the same sector has been combined with IC 609 to leave Mumbai at 8 pm. And on the Mumbai-Delhi sector, flight IC 806 will be combined with IC 185 and leave Mumbai at 9.35 am.
Passengers to Ahmedabad and Jaipur booked on flight CD 270 will be accommodated on flight CD 492, operating on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Aurangabad-Udaipur-Jaipur-Delhi sector, leaving Mumbai at 5.20 pm.
Flights IC 675, IC 274 and IC 270 on the Mumbai-Calcutta sector stand cancelled owing to the proposed Calcutta bandh call given by a section of trade unions. Also, the flight CD 169 on the Mumbai-Raipur-Bhubaneshwar-Mumbai sector has also been cancelled.
