Harsimran and Om Prakash got three goals each for CC-21. Harpreet (2) Raj Kumar (2) also contributed to the score.

Raghubir with 6 goals was the main scorer for GNPS-36.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School-35 defeated Government Model School-19, 16-9. Half time score of 14-3, was in favour of SGGS-35. Rohit (6), Kapil (4), Pawan (2) and Amandeep (2) scored for the winner, while Randeep and Vishwas got two each for the loser.

In another match Manav Mangal-21 outplayed DAV-15, 16-10.

In the sub-junior girls section, Govt Girls School-21 `A' defeated DAV-15, 8-6. The eventual winner led 5-3 at the break.

In another match GSSS-8 `A' beat GSS-21 `B', 9-5.

In the men's section, DAV School Club `A' got the better of GGSSS-20, 12-7 while GGSSS-8 beat DAV-15, 7-3, in the women's group.

City swimmers shine
The Chandigarh aquatic team comprising of Puneet Rana, Harsimran Brar and Kirandeep Kaur ranked among the medal winners in the National School Games in the discipline of swimming, which recently concluded at Nasik.

Puneet got third positiion in 100 metres breaststroke while Harsimran and Kirandeep took third place in 200 metres breaststroke and medley, respectively.

Sports meet
The Army School, Chandimandir will organise its 12th annual sports day on December 11 at 11 a.m., at Raina Stadium, Chandimandir.

Apart from PT display and aerobics, track events will also be held on the occasion.
