We took bribe, admit Warne and Waugh
Australian cricketers Mark Waugh and Shane Warne admitted yesterday that they had taken money from an Indian bookmaker in 1994 to provide pitch and weather information during a tour of Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

India steamroll Pak
The Indian tennis team has ensured a medal by blanking Pakistan 3-0 yesterday to reach the semi-finals of the ongoing Asian Games. In the semis on Friday, India meet Japan, who beat Indonesia 2-1.

Pillay, Dhillon swamp Singapore
Taking inspiration from its women counterparts, the Indian men's hockey team began its campaign with a 9-0 rout of Singapore in the Asian Games hockey tournament yesterday. Spearhead Dhanraj Pillay accounted for as many as four goals while Baljeet Singh Dhillon chipped in with three. Mohammad Riaz and Dilip Tirkey fetched the other two goals to complete the rout.
