``No Prime Minister can work under such pressure, as with too many partners in business or politics, the show can not be run'', Thackeray told PTI today in a veiled attack on the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the Trinamool Congress, allies of the BJP-led Government which supported Congress Candidate P M Sayeed for deputy speakership.

``Forget the BJP, but if even the Prime Minister cannot take decisions on who should be the Deputy Speaker, then it is a miserable situation'', the Sena chief observed.

At a recent public meeting at Miraj in Sangli district, Thackeray had expressed the view that faced with similar situation, he would have resigned. ``However, I did not ask Vajpayee to resign but only spoke about what I would have done under thecircumstances'', he clarified.
