LONDON, DEC 13: Bookmakers offered to make Adam Hollioake a millionaire when he captained England's cricketers to their Champions' Cup triumph in Sharjah last year, The Mail on Sunday reported.
The newspaper said Hollioake was contacted twice by bookmakers who were seeking information about the weather, pitch conditions, team line-ups and tactics. In exchange for the information, he was told: ``We will make you rich. We will make you a millionaire.'' The Mail said Hollioake rejected out of hand the advances of the bookmakers both times.
