EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE

NEW DELHI, December 18: Schedules were planned and re-worked at railway stations and the airport for the third consecutive day today on account of the fog. All late night and early morning flights were rescheduled. Take-offs and landings started around noon. At the station, things moved slower because of the coupled effect of the ongoing repair work on the Ambala-Delhi track and the fog. Ferozpur Janata Express was six hours late, Puja Express from Jammu was 12 hours behind schedule, Brahmaputra Mail came in 14 hours late, the Mahananda Express was over three hours late and the train (4590) running between Bhatinda and Delhi was cancelled.
