Cash stolen
Sector 7 shopkeeper Vikram Gupta has reported a theft in his shop last night. Police said a cash of Rs 72,000 besides a cellphone, and calculator has been reported to be stolen. Police have registered a case of burglary.

Car stolen from Sector 40
Panchkula's Sector 7 resident Subhash Chand has reported to the police that his Esteem car CH-01-V-8966 has been stolen from Sector 40. Two men heldn Police have arrested Sector 18 residents Beli Ram and Harinder Pal Singh under section 107/151 of CrPC. Police sources said they were arrested as a preventive measure as they were on the verge of assaulting each other.

Police have registered a case against two persons of sector 36 -- Dhir and Happy -- for allegedly breaking a glass of a sector 36 private hostel.
