NEW DELHI, December 22: The Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress has been dissolved with immediate effect, according to the president, Jaiveer Nagar.``The decision has been taken in order to revamp the state youth Congress organisation,'' Nagar explained in a press statement.
Saying that ``a process of re-allocation'' has to be undertaken, the statement said that this dissolution marks only the first phase. ``The second phase, of announcing a fresh set of DPYC office-bearers, shall be undertaken in a couple of days,'' the note said. The workers aspiring to be appointed as state office-bearers have been advised to submit their bio-data and birth certificate in the office.
