MUMBAI, December 27: Devotion to Lord Ram as an example of an ideal person can only become a source of great national strength to make India a world leader, Union Home Minister L K Advani said today.Addressing the concluding session of the nine-day `Ram Katha' programme at Cross Maidan, Advani said, ``The dream of Bharat becoming a vishwa guru (world leader) is still far away even 50 years after independence and really speaking ram bhakti (devotion) only can become rashtra shakti (national strength).''
Advani said Lord Ram was described as maryada purshottam as he was the prime example of an ideal king, son, brother, husband and commander of armed forces.
