Chhabria extends Rs 120 cr deal to Mallya
The battle royale between UB group chairman Dr Vijay Mallya and Kishore Chhabria for control over Herbertsons is set for an interesting turn with Chhabria proposing a Rs 120 crore compromise deal to Mallya just ahead of the company's 61st annual general meeting on Wednesday.
Hitachi to buy 32.5% stake in Amtrex
Hitachi Ltd of Japan on Monday announced its decision to pick up 35.2 per cent stake in the Ahmedabad-based Lalbhai family-controlled Amtrex Appliances Ltd. The shares will be issued via preferential allotment.
Pentafour to hike FII stake limit
Pentafour Software and Exports, the Chennai-based software company, has decided to hike FII (foreign institutional investor) holding limit in the company from the current level of 24 to 30 per cent.
