Sunny days ahead

CHANDIGARH, Dec 30: It was bright and sunny in the city today also, encouraging residents to finalise their plans for New Year celebrations.

The night was relatively warmer, compared to Monday, with the minimum temperature registering an increase of just over one degree Celsius.

Sources at the Meteorological Centre here predict a clear sky over the city for the next 48 hours. Many parts in the region, including Sirsa and Ambala remained enveloped in a thick fog during the early hours today, with minimum temperature hovering at one to three degrees below normal. The temperature was also three degrees below normal in Ludhiana.
