CM Sheila Dikshit finally catches Advani's attention

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, December 30: Congress legislators were an appeased lot today after Home Minister L.K. Advani agreed to meet Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit to discuss the crime situation in the city.

Dikshit had asked for an appointment with Advani after the two double murders in Saket last week. She had, however, been denied one. Miffed Congress legislators, as a result, had threatened to launch an agitation against him.

Admitting that she had not been granted an audience with the minister, Dikshit said: ``I will be meeting him on January 4 to discuss the crime situation. He explained that he could not meet me earlier as he was out of town''.
