MUMBAI, JAN 1: The Unit Trust of India (UTI) has once again hiked the sale and repurchase prices of its flagship US-64-scheme for the month of February. The hike is 10 paise over the January prices and the sale and repurchase prices for February would be Rs 15.00 and Rs 14.70 respectively.The move comes despite a revelation that the health of several of UTI's schemes was not in the best of states. This is the seventh time that the UTI is hiking the sale and repurchase prices after July 1998. The sale price of US-64 for the month of January 1999 was Rs 14.90 and the repurchase price Rs 14.60. UTI earlier increased the sale price from Rs 14.80 per unit in December and Rs 14.70 per unit for the month of November.
Keeping the trend the repurchase price of US-64 has also been increased from Rs 14.50 per unit in December and Rs 14.40 per unit in November.
