Women's hockey camp from Jan 15

NEW DELHI, January 1: The Indian Women's Hockey Federation's (IWHF) calender for 1999 begins with a coaching camp for the four-nation tournament to be held in Australia in April. The first coaching camp will be held at NIS Patiala from January 15 to February ten, it was announced by the IWHF. IWHF also released a list of 32 players for the camp. The selected players are: Deepika Sharma (Andhra), Pushpa Pradhan, Adlina Kerketta, Masira Surin (Bihar), Fatima, Pakpi Devi, Paulina Surin (Bombay), Harpal Kaur, Mamta, Nishi (Chandigarh), Sarita Khatri, Sushila Kumari (Delhi), Deepika Murthy (Gujarat), Suman Deswal, Nutan, Gurpreet Kaur, Kiran Bala, Simarjit Kaur (Haryana), Raja Rani (Himachal Pradesh), Madhavi, Elena Christy, B. Pallavi (Karnataka), Ambika (Kerala), Rebika (Manipur), Radhika, Vinitha, Asrita Toppo, Agnesia (Orissa), Charanjit Kaur (Pepsu), Harmanpreet, Harvinder (Punjab), Muthu Selvi (Tamil nadu).Meanwhile, Amrit Bose, hony secretary of the IWHF, has been nominated member of the Hockey Rules Board of International Hockey Federation (FIH), according to a press release.
