Cinema hall screening Fire attacked

PATIALA, Jan 3: Unidentified armed persons today attacked a cinema house here today, when the controversial film Fire was about to be screened, police said.They said a group of eight persons arrived at the cinema house `Rakhra Picture Palace' in a van and attacked the theatre with swords, lathis and other weapons, damaging several glass panes. The assailants also damaged several vehicles parked outside the cinema hall and the vandals made their escape before the cops arrived on the scene.
