20-yr-old shot at, gunman rushes him to hospital A youth was shot at in Mandoli Harsh Vihar, Nand Nagri, northeast district, on Monday night. Rajeev (20), a resident of Bihari Colony in Shahdara, was rushed to the GTB Hospital where his condition is now stable. According to the police, one Asraf Ali owed Rajeev money, and the latter had gone to collect it. The two got into a fight and Ali shot at Rajeev. Incidentally, it was Ali who took a wounded Rajeev to hospital. The Nand Nagari police have registered a case of attempt to murder.Two beaten up in Patel Nagar Two youths were reportedly beaten up by their landlords in Patel Nagar on Tuesday morning. Tarun Tyagi -- a resident of Moradabad -- had come to visit his cousin Dheeraj, who lives in a rented room in Ranjit Nagar. The landlady apparently wanted Dheeraj to leave. At around 11.40 a.m., her sons Rajeev and Rakesh Handa allegedly started beating them up with lathis. To protect himself, Tarun took out a revolver and fired in the air. Domestic help held for theft The police on Monday arrested a domestic helper who allegedly stole jewellry and clothes worth Rs 20,000 from his Hauz Khas employer's house. Based on the complaint of Vijay Verma -- a resident of Main Market, Hauz Khas -- the police on Monday registered a case under Section 381 (theft by clerk or servant of property in possession of master) of the IPC.
