Sachin Bhavsar's fine bowling performance scalping six wickets at the expense of just 29 runs curtailed JN Petit to 160 in the stipulated 40 overs. The only batsmen to survive Sachin's onslaught for a while were Parag More (45), Pranav Singh (37) and Ajay Tayade (36). The rest of them fell cheaply.

Later with an asking rate of four per over, SSPMS cruised to a victory by a solid 76 run innings by Prashant Naik. Vishal Mengnani assisted him with a fine 41 runs.
