Spic Macay all-India festival The Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) is organising an all India festival from January 18. About 500 performances of Indian classical music and dance will be staged as part of this two month long festival. Dedicated to renowned filmmaker Akira Kurosawa, the festival will be inaugurated by flautist Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia and Hindustani vocalist Ulhas Kashalkar at Indraprastha College.Hamdard varsity VC felicitated Hamdard university vice-chancellor Prof Allauddin Ahamd received international felicitation and G-51, Millennium award for his outstanding contribution in the field of educational planning and administration on the occasion of the seventh world environment congress organised by Indian institute of ecology and the international association of educators for world peace, an affiliate of United Nations.
