JAIPUR, JAN 7:: Five major Indian companies are in advanced stages of negotiations with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and another 40 have expressed desire to get listed in the exchange, a top NYSE official said here today."Five Indian companies are in advanced stages of talks with US and they are likely to get listed in the next two years," NYSE group executive Vice President, Georges Ugeux told newsmen.
Without disclosing the names of the five companies, Ugeux, responsible for international listings on NYSE, said all of them had complied with the tough accounting standards set by the US stock market regulator, Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).
