PM returns favour, snubs Sena
The Shiv Sena was snubbed on Friday with Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee declaring that no one will be permitted to disrupt the forthcoming Pakistan tour of India. And Pakistan High Commissioner Ashraf Jehangir Qazi confirmed that his country's team will play in India.
Centre may appoint 'own' Governor in Orissa
After Gujarat, it's the turn of the Orissa Governor to go with New Delhi moving to appoint 'its own man' there. It has denied an extension of leave to K Ramanujam, the Orissa Governor, who is under treatment in Chennai for the past 15 months, thereby ending his stint in the state.
