Sharif tells cricket team to go ahead
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has instructed the Pak cricket team to leave for India as per schedule on Thursday. And in a move that is clearly meant to raise the profile of the upcoming tour, the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the appointment of highly respected and seasoned diplomat Shahryar Khan as the Pakistani team's manager.

Sainiks lob soda bottles n A handful of Shiv Sainiks today threw soda bottles and shouted slogans outside the Pakistani high commission in the Capital's diplomatic enclave protesting the proposed India tour of the Pakistani cricket team.

Talwandi flays Jathedar
President of Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) of the Akali Dal Jagdev Singh Talwandi today accused the Akal Takht Jathedar of interfering in politics. And said the `Byanbazi' (public comments) by leaders on the party crisis continued.
