Bhasha to get 20 acres of land

VADODARA, Jan 19: The State government has issued orders for allotting a 20 acre tract of land at Tejgadh to the Bhasha Research and Publication Centre to undertake it's activities, Centre Chairman G N Devy said on Tuesday. The message was conveyed to the Centre by District Collector Anil Mukim on Monday, Devy said, adding that the land had been given at a token rent of Re 1.Working in the area of tribal culture, arts and languages, the Centre has started libraries for tribal children and Tribal Artists' Cooperative. It plans to start a national institute of tribal studies and training at Tejgadh. The institute will comprise a research library, studios, workshops for artists and a performance arena, besides a museum of various communities and tribes of India.
