CHANDIGARH, Jan 27: The city police have arrested a Haryana police constable for allegedly committing bigamy. According to police sources, constable Balwinder Singh's wife Shaloo Singh had lodged a complaint in November that he married her while he was already married. The police said the constable surrendered in court today. The constable's parents were arrested when the case was registered.Meanwhile, Hallomajra resident Sunil has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a minor of the village.
According to police sources, Sunil alias Gurmeet alias Amit had been working at the shop of the girl's father for the past few months. The two have been missing for three days, said the police. The police have registered a case.
