Dharna to protest burning of Australian missionary

CHANDIGARH, Jan 27: The members of Guru Nanak Universal Brotherhood Society sat on six-hour long dharna at Sector 17 Plaza yesterday to protest against the killing of missionary G.S. Staines and his two sons in Orrisa.The dharna which started at 9 a.m. and continued till 3 p.m. The secretary Institute of Sikh Studies Dr. Kharak Singh said that the situation had become grave with such attacks on minority. A Board member of Penal Reform International, a body having consultative status with the UN, Dr Rahi termed the killings as attack on secularism.
