Noted gyneacologist Banoo Coyaji told The Indian Express that she had received a call from a resident that the army was out to demolish the bridge this afternoon. ``I enquired with the Sub Area headquarters and they haveassured me that they had no plans to demolish the bridge but were only working towards erecting a speedbreaker. But the civilians are certainly very upset with the army authorities.'' She said: ``The last time they said this, they had demolished the culvert at Bhairoba Nalla''.
