Dacoits target 3 huts; 8 hurt

PUNE, Jan 27: A GANG of about a dozen dacoits, armed with swords, axes and sticks, went on rampage in Saswad targeting threehuts and attacking eight persons on Sunday night.The unidentified men struck at three hutments, located at secluded spots. Booty worth about Rs 20,000 was stolen. The incident came to light when the injured went to a hospital at Saswad. They were later shifted to the Sassoon Hospital in Pune.
