CHANDIGARH, Jan 27: Uttar Pradesh and Railways won the men's and women's team titles respectively in the recenlty concluded 40th Senior National Gymnastic Championship held at Kankroli (Rajasthan), according to information released by Gymnastic Federation of India here today.Internationals Poonam Chhabra of Railways and Vikas Pandey of Uttar Pradesh emerged the all-round gymnasts among women and men with 32.300 and 49.25 points respectively.
Poonam, who hails from Haryana, also bagged golds in uneven bars and balancing beam. Dolly Ghosh of Bengal emerged winner in the vaulting horse with 8.675 points. Topkar Manasi of Maharashtra got top position in floor excercises with 8.200 points.
Vikas Pandey also claimed gold medals in the pommel horse, parallel bars and horizontal bar.
