CHANDIGARH, Jan 29: Trials to select Chandigarh senior team for the forthcoming 33rd National cross country championship to be held at Haridwar on February 7, will be held on February 1, at DAV Senior Secondary School-8, from 10 a.m.According to Milkha Singh, president, Amateur Athletic Association, Chandigarh, the competition will be held in men section over 12 and 8 km while in the women section the distance is 8 and 4 km. For junior men the race would be 8 km while 6 km is for women's group.
Participants in the junior section should be below 20 years on December 31, 1999. Entry close on January 31, with Raj Kumar, DAV School-8.
