Karnataka expects a bumper mango crop

BANGALORE, February 7: Karnataka is expecting a bumper mango crop this year. This holds out hope for the common man, who found the king of fruits much beyond his reach last year. While last year, the production was a mere one lakh tonnes, the State Horticulture Department has estimated this year's output to be a health 11 lakh tonnes.
